Mining facility

Navigation: | Main Page → Civilized Areas → Facilities → Mining facility |
A mining facility (or simply a mine) is a type of special facility managed by the Engineering Corps's Mining Crew. Mining facilities are located directly above a series of mineshafts, where mineral raw materials - ore - are extracted via mining and stored, before being processed by other industries.
Mining facilities are differentiated by the number of levels they reach underground. It is presently unknown if there is a limit to how deep a mining facility can reach.
Locations
The following towns possess a mining facility:
- Heshbar (24 levels)
- Kazama (28 levels)
- Lenox Corner (18 levels)

Ore bank
The ore bank is where miners and visitors may exchange ores for ingots, gemstones, or money. The exact value and quantity of items that can be obtained depend on the type and composition of the ore provided. See the ores article for a list of values.
All ores except Serpentium can be sold directly for money. Certain metal ores may be exchanged for ingots, as long as you bring sufficient quantities of relevant metals to form 100, 250, 500, or 1000-gram ingots. Gemstone ores can be exchanged for identified but unappraised gems (50 grams = 1 gemstone).
Serpentium crystals can be donated or sold to generator facilities in every town.
