A hydroponics lab is a type of food production facility managed by the Scientific Community's Agroscience Team. Hydroponics labs use a very similar layout as regular labs. Hydroponics is a method of growing food without the need for soil, using scientifically-developed liquid solutions full of nutrients. Hydroponics labs are also equipped to clone plants and crops, and generally keep a reserve of seeds in case of crop failure. This method of food production is clean and disease-free but has high water and power requirements.
