Overview
This article or section contains lore-related information. Though not strictly necessary for playing the game, you are encouraged to read this section if you wish to have a better understanding of the game's universe. |
Demonic creatures are employees of Hell, Inc., the Demonic faction.
Cacobarons are the evolved form of fiends. Once again, they grow taller, heavier and tougher, now averaging at roughly 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. The head of a cacobaron now has a pair of fully-developed horns, giving them another means of attacking targets. Their skin tone remains in the regular range of dark red shades, ranging between blood-red to wine. Their attire is now more formal and refined, consisting of a red office shirt bearing a Hell, Inc. symbol on the left breast, black pants, and black shoes.
Cacobarons possess very tough and bullet-resistant bodies (equivalent to medium armor) as well as relatively low sensitivity to pain. Regarding offensive capabilities, they learn one new demonic power, the acid ball, and gain access to a higher pool of Demonic Energy. Their combat capabilities are the same as before - basic proficiency with all types of weapons - but they now make smarter and more discerning choices when selecting weapons to carry.
Within the demonic hierarchy, they are classified as Echelon 5 or Team leaders, above fiends and cubi, equal in rank to vampires and dark maidens, and under maldukes and incinerators. As the name of their echelon suggests, cacobarons develop a sense of leadership and are given the responsibility of ordering and managing a small group of lower-ranked demonics, ensuring that they perform their expected tasks and duties.
Should a cacobaron gain a sufficient amount of field experience and demonstrate that they are capable leaders, they may eventually be promoted to reach their next evolutionary step: the malduke.
