Viris Area is a medium Syndicate town located in the Northern Zone.
Viris Area was founded in E7-101. It was originally an unremarkable neutral town, with very little of note. In E7-130, as part of the Syndicate's Expansion Plan, a Syndicate capo entered negotiations with town founder and mayor Doreen Colby over the control of the town. The town was effectively sold to the mob, in exchange for a lump sum of 
50 000 and armed protection during the transition process. After the Syndicate moved in town and replaced the Town Hall and Town Security staff, Colby departed from the town, never to be seen again.
The current mayor of Viris Area is Lenny Yatela, the youngest brother of the Syndicate Don, Michael Yatela.
The local population is fairly diverse, with a slight majority of humans and halflings, and a minority of youkai.
