The Mosin-Nagant Obrez (also called Obrez, Mosin-Nagant or just Mosin; occasionally and affectionately Nugget) is a 7.62x54mm R conventional rifle.

Maze Customs

This weapon can receive the following minor customization services:

  • Obrez Raven

Obrez Raven

Yes, the Obrez can also benefit from this modification; with it, your pocket bolt-action fireball belcher can now be fired ten times instead of just five. You have to be some special kind of masochist to enjoy it, but we respect you (and maybe even admire you a little bit) for it.

Cost: Parallar symbol.png300

Modifications:

  • Feeding standard capacity: Becomes 10-round capacity.

Other information

  • Stripper clip compatibility: Mosin-Nagant 5-round stripper clip

Trivia

This weapon is based on the crudely converted Obrez "pistols" that were first seen during the Russian Revolution of 1917. They are essentially Mosin-Nagant M1891 rifles with their barrels and stocks cut down to roughly pistol sized dimensions. Although the barrel lengths varied about as much as the quality of the conversions, they tended to be, in average, mediocre, lacking sights, and having barrel lengths ranging from 4 to 8 inches. The Obrez in the Mazes is professionally manufactured, with a 6-inch crowned barrel. The traditional sights are absent; a channel cut into the top of the receiver can be found instead, similar in principle to pocket pistol sights.
