A bank is a facility equipped with a high-security vault. A bank's purpose is to securely hold money, valuables, and other objects for a town and its inhabitants. Banks provide banking and storage services for a fee. Banks are operated by local citizens called bankers, which are appointed by the mayor. The premises are protected by the local Town Security.

Although the bank in each town is independent, bankers maintain their customer database and communicate with one another through the MazeNet computer network, via secure applications. Every time a change occurs on any account, it is logged and updated in real-time. Banks also frequently hire couriers and armed escorts to deliver money and items in storage from one bank to the next; this courier delivery service is how customers may "retrieve" items from any bank, even if they were not deposited there in the first place.

It is an essential facility; one is guaranteed in each town in the Mazes.

Locations

Every town in the Mazes possesses a bank. The ones in Roazon and Fort Silver are abandoned.
