9x25mm Dillon is a type of ammunition for firearms. It is classified as a (P)istol caliber.
9x25mm Dillon is based on 10x25mm Auto, but necked down to accept bullets of the same diameter (.355 / 9mm) as those used in 9x19mm Parabellum. In a certain sense, what this cartridge is to 10mm Auto, .357 SIG is to .40 S&W.
9x25mm is pronounced nine by twenty five millimeters.
This caliber may also be known as 9x25mm Dln, 9x25mm Dil, or simply 9x25mm.
This is one of the so-called rare calibers. There are no base weapons chambered in this caliber.
