"A bigger, meaner version of the HK416 chambered in 7.62 NATO, this rifle offers nearly all of the power expected of a battle rifle, in a short and handy package. With a barrel length of just 12 inches, some muzzle energy is sacrificed, and it does only accept its own proprietary magazines, but there are enough rails to customize this rifle to your heart's content. Short but strong, as they say." |

The Heckler & Koch HK417 (also called HK417 or simply 417) is a 7.62x51mm NATO combat rifle.
Maze Customs
This weapon can receive the following minor customization services:
- HK417 DMR
- HK417 LBR
- Combination: HK417 DMR-L
HK417 DMR
Convert the HK417 to the designated marksman rifle configuration, turning it into a true rifle, featuring a 20-inch barrel and a bayonet lug. Now that's what I call a battle rifle!
Modifications:
- Barrel length: Becomes 20 inches.
- Weight: Becomes 22 units.
HK417 LBR
An HK417 converted to .260 Remington. The new caliber trades a minimal loss of performance for less recoil, and all without the need for new magazines!
Modifications:
- Caliber: Becomes .260 Remington.
HK417 DMR-L
With this modification, the HK417 DMR doesn't get left out of the .260 Remington fun.
This is a two-step modification from the original weapon, which combines the effects of the HK417 DMR and HK417 LBR conversions.
Modifications:
- Caliber: Becomes .260 Remington.
- Barrel length: Becomes 20 inches.
- Weight: Becomes 22 units.
