This conversion for the 96FS turns it into the 96CMS (Converted, Modified Slide), so-called because it is more than a simple barrel replacement; the recoil spring and the slide are replaced with stronger ones, in order to withstand the even higher pressure of the .357 SIG cartridge.

This simple modification will turn the Beretta 96 into an auto pistol. Beware; it is not select-fire, semi-automatic fire is replaced with full-auto! Make sure to have plenty of magazines!
