"The PKP Pecheneg is a modernized version of the classic PKM machine gun. Using synthetic furniture in place of wood, a standard side mount for WP-type optics, and a heavier, non-removable barrel, relying on a forced air-cooling system to mitigate the effects of overheating, the Pecheneg is a stronger, lighter, more reliable machine gun than its predecessor, one that has earned the reputation of being a high-quality, expensive powerhouse, often seen in the hands of wealthy enthusiasts and well-equipped mercenaries." |

The TsNIITochMash PKP Pecheneg (also called PKP Pecheneg, Pecheneg or simply PKP) is a 7.62x54mm R machine gun.
Maze Customs
This weapon can receive the following minor customization services:
- Pecheneg Zenit
Pecheneg Zenit
The Pecheneg Zenit is nothing more than a bullpup conversion of the PKP Pecheneg machine gun. Reducing the overall length of the weapon by about 11 inches, the Zenit also provides the user with an integrated foregrip, a short NATO optics rail, and a comfortable cheek rest. Ammo belt boxes are mounted to the weapon at a 135-degree angle in front of the trigger, but the ammo belts do indeed need to be fed into the rear of the weapon, making this a true bullpup. Hope your shoulders are tough.
Modifications:
- Optics: Becomes NATO Short mount.
- Weight: Becomes 26 units.
- Underbarrel: Becomes Foregrip (integrated) + Bipod (integrated).
Other information
- The Pecheneg Zenit possesses both a foregrip and a bipod. However, only one accessory can be used at a time. If the bipod is deployed, only the bipod's effects are applied. Otherwise, only the foregrip's effects apply.
