"The same, but smaller. That might be how you can describe the Glock 19, especially in relation to its full-sized predecessor, the Glock 17. The G19 was meant to do two things: be a little easier to carry concealed and be easier to shoot for people with smaller hands. Yes, it's big for a "compact" pistol. Yes, the smaller frame means the G19 cannot benefit from the myriad of Maze Customs modifications for full-sized Glocks, but there's a hidden benefit to that. If all you want is a no-nonsense, no-frills, high-capacity 9mm pistol with the simplest controls imaginable and the same reliability as the G17, take this one with no regrets."
