"They say you get what you pay for... When your budget for a handgun is 100 bucks or less, your options are going to be pretty limited anyway. The Bryco Model 38 was developed to be an ultra-low-cost handgun, made as cheaply and as simply as possible, making use of aluminium alloys and mild steel; with rumors claiming that they are produced using scavenged materials, to further save on costs. The butt of many jokes about bad guns, being relegated to Bryco pistol production is seen as a punishment by weapon factory engineers. Shooters don't seem to like it very much either; they have gained a reputation for poor reliability, and breaking completely at the worst possible moment. If you find yourself needing an extremely cheap pistol (or multiple ones), well, at least, it's a small, lightweight pistol chambered in a decent defensive caliber. And it works... kinda... most of the time. Look, don't ask for too much when you paid 75 for it, okay?" |
