.460 Rowland is a type of ammunition for firearms. It is classified as a (P)istol caliber, and was originally designed for 1911 conversions.
.460 Rowland is pronounced four sixty Rowland. The cartridge is named after its original designer, Johnny Ray Rowland.
This caliber may also be known as .460 Row, .460 Rwd, or simply .460. There is no formal metric designation for this caliber, but if one existed, it would likely be 11.43x24mm, although this is not a recommended designation, as it is very close to .45 ACP's own metric designation.
