"The gohei is an Angelic sacred wand, and the traditional weapon of Heaven Ltd's shrine maidens. The name was adopted from an ancient youkai term, and was thought to be more memorable and easier to remember than "Sacred staff with paper streamers". The iconic paper streamers, folded and square in appearance, are generally adorned with ancient, magical Angelic writings, the purpose of which is to ward Demonics away, and if not, hurt them by a mere touch. More than just sayings and legends, gohei actually do hurt Demonics more than regular creatures, just as the shaku hurt Angelics more. And you can buy your very own at your local weapon shop or forge for the low, low price of 85!"
