The tekko-kagi (Youkai-go: 手甲鉤) are a type of handgear weapon.
Stats
Equipping the tekko-kagi replaces your standard Punch with three attack modes: Slash, Stab punch, Back slap.
For more information, please see Unarmed combat.
Slash
Damage type | LDV | Pain (C1) | Pain (C2) | Pain (A1) | Pain (A2) | Pain (A3) | Pain (A4) | Pain (A5) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Sharp | +2 | 20% | 18% | 14% | 11% | 8% | 4% | 1% |
- Each hit causing at least 1 Limb Damage will inflict 1d4 light wounds, instead of just 1.
Stab punch
Use the damage tables above, but with the following modifications:
- Damage type becomes Piercing
- Each hit causing at least 1 Limb Damage will inflict 1d4 deep wounds, instead of just 1.
Back slap
Use the damage tables above, but with the following modifications:
- Damage type becomes Blunt
- 0.6x damage multiplier
Protection
The tekko-kagi provide a C1 Armor Class rating to the hands when worn. As it is the lowest AC, this means they do not provide any significant protection over bare fists - they only serve to increase punching damage. If your natural AC exceeds that rating, then that AC prevails.
