The insulated gloves are a type of handgear weapon.
Stats
Equipping the insulated gloves will modify the amount of damage you will deal when throwing a Punch, as well as provide some protection to your hands.

Protection
The insulated gloves provide a C1 Armor Class rating to the hands when worn. As it is the lowest AC, this means they do not provide any significant protection over bare fists - they only serve to increase punching damage. If your natural AC exceeds that rating, then that AC prevails.
