The Super LeMat is a combination handgun with 2 caliber modes. Caliber Mode 1 (CM1) is a single-action .44 Magnum revolver, and Caliber Mode 2 is a single-shot 12 gauge shotgun.
Obtaining this weapon
This weapon is referred to as a Crafting-only weapon. It cannot be normally found in the Mazes; it must be crafted in order to obtain it. For this reason, this weapon is Rarity 7 (Unique).
This is a Level 3 crafting item which requires the following parts:
- Custom 9-round cylinder
- Tiny shotgun barrel
- Stylish old grips
- Custom revolver frame
- (Optional) Rounds of .44 Magnum (or .44 Special) and 12 gauge ammunition (not required for crafting the weapon itself, but needed to load it)
- (Optional) Kourin blueprint (not required for crafting the weapon, but increases crafting success chances)
Other information
- In Caliber Mode 1, this weapon is a .44 Magnum revolver, and therefore may accept .44 Magnum and .44 Special ammunition interchangeably.
Trivia
- This weapon and the name of the associated blueprint (the Kourin blueprint) are both references to a piece of Touhou fan art depicting Rinnosuke 'Kourin' Morichika holding a revolver. The author originally misidentified the revolver as a LeMat 1869 revolver (it is actually a Lefaucheux M1854 pinfire revolver), and created the "Super LeMat" using calibers that were available in the game at the time. The Super LeMat as it is depicted in MazeWorld (as a .44 Magnum/12 gauge handgun) is completely fictional, but was kept in the game.
