Syndicate leadership

In 690, both Don Arsenio and his brother Attilio were found dead, leaving the Don's consigliere, Ciro Veleno, to take over the Syndicate. Initially, this was supposed to be temporary; Michael Yatela, the Don's eldest son, was meant to be the successor. However, Veleno clung to the reins of power, becoming the Syndicate's new leader, for a time at least.
Following the death of his father, Valaso was promoted to the rank of caporegime. He subsequently quit the fencing business and took over as Club 380's Syndicate member in charge, where he remained for three uneventful years. In 693, Valaso answered the call of his cousin, Michael Yatela, participating in his coup against Veleno. Together with Michael, his siblings, and several other associates and enforcers, Veleno Valaso participated in the assault on Greening, which resulted in the deaths of Veleno's entire security personnel. He stood by Michael's side when Veleno was publicly executed, witnessed his declaring to the Greening townspeople that he was the new Don, and was selected to be his new consigliere.
Upon becoming the new consigliere of the Syndicate, Valaso moved out of Garica Block and ceased overseeing Club 380 operations so that he could focus full-time on assisting what he now affectionately calls "Cousin Don".
