Ores
,On their own, ores don't have any uses to the player; they cannot be used for anything directly, nor are they part of any [[crafting]] recipes. Their only real purpose is to be exchanged at a mining facility's '''ore bank'''. Depending on the composition and amount delivered, a player character may exchange ore for metal ingots, gemstones, or directly to cash.
Ores are sub-categorized into three groups: '''Metal ores''', '''Gemstone ores''', and '''Serpentium ore'''.
Unusually for items in the Mazes, all ore bundles have a listed mass in grams, and a corresponding Weight (in inventory Weight units). For every 5 grams of mass, an ore bundle gains 0.01 Weight units; therefore, 500 grams of ore has a Weight of 1, and 1000 grams of ore has a Weight of 2.
