Player characters can find ores at random in the UA, but the easiest way to acquire ores is to mine them.
Ore items are called '''ore bundles''', which may be one of many different types (each type having a different composition) and be of varying mass (expressed in grams), which in turn determines the item's Weight(in Weight units).
On their own, ores don't have any uses to the player; they cannot be used for anything directly, nor are they part of any [[crafting]] recipes.
