Mippei Yosai was founded in E6-586, over the ruins of the former medieval town of '''Kharidin''' (pronounced ''ra-ree-deen''). It is most famous for its '''closed city mandate''' (see [[Mippei Yosai#Local Laws|this section]]).
The town's local activist cell, '''Task Force "Divine Edge"''' ('''作戦部隊 「神刃」''', ''sakusen butai 「kamujin」「kamijin」''), acts as the local Town Security, but also operates a training facility they refer to as the '''Training Center''' ('''講習会場''', ''koushuukaiba''), where youkai recruits are trained to become [[activist fighter|activist fighters]] and join one of the Nation's activist cells in the Mazes.
Mippei Yosai is a secretive town, with little information available. Although accurate demographics are not known, the local town population is most likely exclusively composed of [[youkai]] with zero minorities of other species.
