A '''mining facility''' (or simply a '''mine''') is a type of special facility managed by the [[Engineering Corps|Engineering Corps's Mining Crew]]. Mining facilities are located directly above a series of mineshafts, where mineral raw materials - [[ore]] - are extracted and stored, before being processed by other industries.
Mining facilities are differentiated by the number of levels they reach underground. It is presently unknown if there is a limit to how deep a mining facility can reach.
