This page lists any significant updates made to the game from Version 5 onwards. Smaller changes and fixes which aren't enough to constitute an update, particularly if they are meant to fix or modify errors, typos or inconsistencies with event lines, will usually be listed in the Tsuchinoko updates instead.

Version 5.45 - Simplification update #4: Ores, metals and mining

* Valuables:
** Scandium and palladium ingots have been scrapped
** Introduction of new types of ingots: Zinc, Iron, and Tungsten
** All ingots are now available in four sizes: 100g (0.2 Weight units), 250g (0.5 units), 500g (1 unit) and 1000g (2 units)
** "Hardened steel" was renamed to just "Steel"
** Value per kilogram of brass is now 240 P$ (previously 224 P$)
** Value per kilogram of electrum is now 1400 P$ (previously 1340 P$)
* Ores and mining:
** All metal ores have been completely scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up. All types of metal ores now contain a percentage of ONE useful metal or "quick cash" element, and are now based on more realistic types of minerals.
** The list of "Primary" mining elements (which can be exchanged for ingots) has been rewritten, and now includes (from least to most valuable): Zinc, Lead, Iron, Copper, Tungsten, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
** The list of "Secondary" mining elements (which can be exchanged for cash) has been rewritten, and now includes (from least to most valuable): Coal, Sulfur, Nickel, Mercury, Magnesium, Tin, Cobalt, Aluminium, Molybdenum, Titanium, and Chromium.
** There isn't a tertiary "garbage" category of ore materials anymore.
** Event line nomenclature for all metal and gemstone ores has been redone for clarity.
* Other changes:
** Dimensions of brass and electrum coins were modified slightly to account for the changes.
