"1911-style" weapons
A number of weapons can be considered to be derivatives of the 1911 design, with similar looks and ergonomics, but otherwise no interchangeability or compatibility with "true" 1911 pistols (such as those listed above), or some other mechanical difference excluding them from either Customs family. These weapons may be variously referred to in the broad and vague category of "1911 style" pistols, and this list is mostly based on looks more than anything else. There is no "You may be looking for" links pointing to this page on the weapon pages listed below; this list only exists for indicative purposes.
- Coonan Model A, a .357 Magnum pistol
- LAR Grizzly Mark V, a .50 Action Express pistol
- Trejo Modelo 1, a .22 Long Rifle auto pistol
- Wildey Hunter, a .475 Wildey Magnum pistol
