"To those in the know, these three letters - MAC - are synonymous with one thing only: Rate of fire. Like its .380 sibling, the MAC-10 is a veritable bullet hose, reaching well over 1000 rounds per minute and letting you empty a magazine at anyone or anything you hate in under 2 seconds. Sure, you could buy two, fold the nearly useless stocks, and dual-wield them if you really want to feel like the coolest person in the world... if you don't feel like being the most accurate."
Hebizuka (quote written by GenericArchangel)

The MAC-10 (also called Ingram M10, MAC M10, or simply M10) is a .45 ACP submachine gun.

Other information

  • Despite the fact that this stock is technically retractable rather than foldable, the MAC-10's stock was categorized as a Folding stock (FS) intentionally; due to its size and placement of the rear sight, when the stock is fully retracted, it is impossible to shoulder this weapon and it becomes impossible to look through the sights (the rear sight would be against the shooter's shoulder).
  • Despite the presence of a nylon strap, it merely exists as a safety feature; nothing more than something for the shooter to hold onto while shooting, and prevent a hand from wandering in front of the muzzle. It does not serve as a foregrip and therefore does not grant the effects of one.
  • This weapon is normally considered to be a submachine gun (Rifle skills), and is assumed to be used with the stock extended by default, just like with any other applicable weapon. However, when the stock is retracted, the MAC-10 becomes an auto pistol, and therefore calls for Pistol skills.
  • With the stock extended, this weapon belongs to the submachine gun weapon category. Normally, this category is restricted from dual-wielding; however, this weapon is exempted, and can be dual-wielded regardless of stock mode used.
