The ZiD AEK-919K Kashtan (also called AEK-919K Kashtan, AEK-919K, AEK-919, Kashtan, or simply AEK) is a 9x18mm Makarov submachine gun.

- This weapon is normally considered to be a submachine gun (Rifle skills), and is assumed to be used with the stock extended by default, just like with any other applicable weapon. However, when the stock is retracted, the Kashtan becomes an auto pistol, and therefore calls for Pistol skills.
