Creature traits:
* Gas immunity: This creature has a permanent immunity to gases effect..* No blood: This creature does not have Blood and is effecively effectively immune to Wounds, as it cannot bleed.
* Poison immunity: This creature is immune to all forms of poisoning: they cannot receive Venom nor the Cyanide poisoning effect.
* Sleep immunity: This creature never needs to sleep, cannot feel Fatigue and cannot receive the Forced sleep effect, effectively making them immune to tranquilizers.
Zombies are reanimated corpses; they do not need to breathe, eat, or sleep, whatever blood that is remaining in their bodies is no longer flowing and is not needed for their "survival" (making them simultaneously immune to wounds, bleeding, and poisoning), and eating the remains of a zombie is about as ill-advised as eating a two-week-old, decomposing corpse. The only way to truly destroy these creatures and remove the necromantic magic that is keeping them together is to destroy enough vital parts from their bodies until the spell no longer has anything to "hold" onto.
Popular culture suggests that shooting a zombie in the head is the best way to destroy them, and while that would work in the Mazes, it's not the only method and it has the same disadvantages as aiming for the head of any other creature. To dispel the necromantic influence that is animating the body, and therefore destroy the zombie, one must cause enough damage to either the head or the upper body. If the brain is damaged enough, the necromantic spell can no longer pilot the body's nervous system and will simply dissipate. If the upper body is damaged enough, the zombie will simply fall apart entirely from sheer structural damage, causing the spell to dissipate and leaving a jumbled mess of bones and flesh.
If you are facing a zombie, don't panic. They may be very scary, and even resemble people you know, but you must steel yourself. If fleeing is the better option, flee from them; zombies are very slow and unagile. If you must fight, concentrate your fire into the upper body, unless your equipment and/or your skill level lets you comfortably hit the head, in which case, aim for the head, then simply shoot it until it dies. Again.
