Trauma plates

312 bytes added, 8 April
A trauma plate does not increase Armor Class and therefore doesn't actually reduce the amount of limb damage dealt by incoming bullets. Therefore, one should pair the highest possible AC with the best available plate, in order to ensure that as little damage as possible is dealt to the user; both for preserving the plate's HP and reducing the chances of a pass-through.

=== Weight considerations ===

* If a plate is already inserted in a compatible piece of [[clothing and armor|armor or outfit]], the Weight of that armor or outfit does not increase by the plate's weight.
