* Variable damage multiplier, which depends on the user's Demonic Reputation.

* Angelic creatures cannot equip or use this weapon, and would hurt themselves if they tried or were forced to touch it. This extends to shrine maidens.
** Formula is: Multiplier = ( 1 + ( Demonic Rep / 125 )).

* Hell's Gift effect: For every Angelic creature killed with this weapon, the weapon gains one "Charge" point, up to a maximum of 30. This weapon has a damage multiplier equal to 1.0 + (Charges x 0.1); meaning that at the maximum of 30 Charge points, this weapon will deal quadruple damage (4.0x). At any given moment, if the weapon has at least one Charge point, the user may use a special ability called !!!BERSERK!!! (for appropriate effect, this word should be shouted, angrily). Upon activating this ability, all Charge points are consumed; the user's Limb health is completely restored, then their Strength triples, and their Pain sensitivity becomes 0% for as many turns as there were Charges (up to 30 turns).
** Multiplier is x1 at 0 Rep.

** At -125 Rep or less, The Bat out of Hell will deal zero damage as the multiplier fell to x0.
+
** At 1000 Rep, The Bat out of Hell will deal 9x damage.

"A seemingly indestructible bat, made out of very dark steel, with a strange, blood red hue. Legend says that it was made out of an otherworldly material called steelwood, made from a tree that grew upside down, from a deep cavern of Hell. In order to bind this bat to Demonic energy, it is said to have been used to execute ten thousand different enemies, each time bathing the bat in their blood, each time making it harder, stronger, and hungry for more blood of the enemies of Hell. It demands more. Feed it."
Hebizuka (quote written by Tempest)
