The snawfus is a sort of giant deer, distantly related to the [[white-tailed deer]], but with several differences; it is approximately the same size as an [[elk]], has all-white fur, a pair of shining, steel-blue eyes, and attunement to elemental magic; and more specifically, ice and cold magic. The latter is evident in two facts: The air around a snawfus seems to chill briefly wherever it passes, and the snawfus can fire the ''Frostblastfrostblast'' from its mouth, just like the [[kallwolf]].
Another trait unique to the snawfus is their antlers. Instead of being made of bone, snawfus antlers are made of a material identical to plum wood, complete with flowers. Also much unlike regular deer and elk, both snawfus bucks and does have antlers; females simply appear to have slightly shorter ones, whereas males are longer and more likely to be flowering.
