A docile, herbivorous creature with white, fuzzy fur, raised for its meat and wool.
Sheep are a peculiar type of creature known as an ''ovine''. The word ''sheep'' is used in both singular and plural. Males are referred to as ''rams'', and females as ''ewes'' (usually pronounced ''yous''). They have an average height of 3 feet 8 inches. Rams weigh about 250 pounds on average, while ewes are much lighter, at 140 pounds.
