  • Inflicts no Pain or Limb Damage.
  • The creature will attempt to steal a random equipped weapon, piece of LBE or piece of clothing or armor from the target's inventory.
    • If there are no compatible items in the target's inventory, the technique fails automatically.
    • Otherwise, both the attacking creature and the target creature must roll 2d6+Agi to determine whether the stealing attempt succeeds.
      • If the attacker's roll is equal or superior to the target's, Steal is successful.
      • On a success, the creature will steal one random item among the listed possibilities above, which will be carried in hands (not transferred in inventory). Once the stolen item is in hands, the creature will immediately prioritize fleeing from the room.

Primates are a category of quadrupedal creatures capable of standing upright on their hind legs. They are considered to be the closest genetic ancestors of humans. All primates may be colloquially referred to as "monkeys", however this is a colloquial term and is not considered a correct term.

Sasquatches are essentially giant gorillas, and the second largest of the primates in the Mazes. They possess an average height of 6 feet 6 inches, and an average weight of 600-700 pounds for males, and 400 pounds for females. These enormous beasts were aptly described as possessing "arms thick like beer kegs" by the first sapients to have discovered them.

Like all primates, they possess large brains in relation to the size of their bodies compared to other mammal species. Sasquatches are considered to be among the most intelligent of non-sapient species, possessing enough intelligence and dexterity to understand the use of objects as tools, even regularly making crude tools out of wood, rock, or scrap metal. In a sense, they have the strength of a gorilla but the dexterity of a chimpanzee. When they cannot make their own tools, they sometimes scavenge for them or steal them from sapients.

However, it is important to note that while sasquatches are nominally considered hostile, they are not particularly violent, and if one does not display overtly hostile behavior when meeting one, it is highly likely that they won't be hostile in return. However, do be careful, as that is not a certainty, and average hostility dramatically increases if the sasquatch is hungry, wounded, or if it feels its territory or personal space is being invaded.

If you meet a sasquatch, first and foremost, don't panic. Try to observe it from a position of stealth to determine its behavior. If it looks agitated, it's very likely it will react in a hostile manner if it spots you. If it doesn't, that still doesn't make it a certainty that it will be peaceful (or at least not threatening). Try to avoid them if possible. If you have to fight, then remember that despite it being a tall and imposing creature, it has no armor of any kind. Therefore, the same weapon recommendations against other primates will apply here: powerful weapons using expanding ammunition.
