A rest stop is a facility designed to provide temporary housing (a practice called lodging) in an intersection, working similarly to a hotel.

Rest stops are managed by a janitor appointed by the local head janitor, themselves appointed by the InterSec Chief.

  • Keys 101-107: Each key corresponds to one of the rest stop rooms. Guests carry a copy of their respective unit's key. The manager possesses a copy of every hotel room key.
  • Key A: Carried by the manager and all housekeeping staff.

Laundry room

  • Personnel: None, but may be occasionally visited by housekeeping staff working
  • Furniture: Rows of laundry machines (washing, drying), clotheslines, cleaning cabinet, laundry baskets

Lobby

  • Personnel: Janitor (Rest stop manager/Head of housekeeping)
  • Furniture: Desk, chair, computer, file cabinets, announcement board, posters
  • Cover:
    • Side 1: File cabinet (57 health, A2)

    • Side 4: Desk (36 health, A1)

Rest stop room

All rest stop rooms possess bedding of roughly the same quality, corresponding to a ★ hotel in quality.

Staff bathroom

  • Personnel: None, but often visited by the housekeeping staff
  • Furniture: Mirror, sink, 4 shower cabins, toilet seats

Staff bedroom

  • Personnel: Janitors (2-8, housekeeping staff) and Head janitor (housekeeping staff, whenever not performing their duties)
  • Furniture: 4 bunk beds, 1 single bed, nightstands, bookshelves, containers, framed pictures, posters

Staff break room

  • Personnel: None, but often visited by housekeeping staff relaxing
  • Furniture: Couch, television, radio, tables, chairs, bookshelves, food cabinet, fridge, mini-stoves
