Nutrition is a statistic, expressed as a numerical value with no decimals and the suffix ntri. When in reference to a creature, this represents their nutrition level. When in reference to an item (typically food or mushrooms), it refers to its nutritional value.

Nutrition levels

For nutrition levels to make any sense, a character's nutrition Baseline Value (BV) must be known. This value represents roughly one day's worth of food. Every day at the Daily Reset, your character will lose a quantity of nutrition equal to their BV.

Nutrition BV is defined as Base Limb Health value x 30. An average human has a Base Limb Health value of 70, therefore the average nutritional BV is 2100 ntri.

On the table below, the abbreviation nBV is used to represent a negative Baseline Value. For an average human, 1x nBV would be equal to -2100 ntri (missing one day's worth of food).

Nutrition levels have an upper limit at 3x BV, and a lower limit at 3x nBV.

It is recommended to write down your particular character's Nutrition thresholds for each level.

  • If your character possesses one of the Big eater traits, the Nutrition BV is multiplied by either 1.25 (lv. 1), 1.5 (lv. 2), or 2 (lv. 3), depending on the selected trait level.
  • If your character possesses one of the Light eater traits, the Nutrition BV is multiplied by either 0.9 (lv. 1), 0.8 (lv. 2), or 0.7 (lv. 3), depending on the selected trait level.
