Muramasa (Youkai: 村正) is an artifact two-handed sword.

Obtaining this weapon

This weapon is referred to as an artifact weapon; it cannot be normally found in the Mazes, nor can it be crafted or built.

Muramasa can be obtained by completing the Outside area, tundra explorable area and reaching the treasure.

This weapon is unique. Only one instance of this artifact weapon should exist. It cannot be sold, and if it is lost or abandoned, it will return to its original location.

Stats

This weapon has only one mode available, Slash.

Thrust

Damage type LDV Pain (C1) Pain (C2) Pain (C3) Pain (A1) Pain (A2) Pain (A3) Pain (A4) Pain (A5)
Piercing +9 60% 57% 54% 45% 36% 27% 12% 3%
  • Bloodthirsty effect: For every wound that is caused to any creature using this weapon, the weapon gains one "Bloodthirst" point, up to a maximum of 14. At any given moment, if the sword has at least one Bloodthirst point, the user may use a special ability called Kiritoru (切り取る, "cut off"). When using Kiritoru, the user is restricted to one attack per turn, but this weapon's LDV is increased by an amount equal to the amount of Bloodthirst points. At the maximum of 14 points, this translates into a theoretical maximum LDV of +23. On the next turn after using Kiritoru, Bloodthirst points are reset to 0.
