A semi-automatic pistol platform based on the original Glock design, employing a short frame for small to medium-caliber pistol cartridges. The original Glock-SF pistol is the [[Glock 17]] in [[9x19mm Parabellum]].

All Glock pistols are recognizable by their polymer frame, distinctly blocky looks, and the lack of manual safeties, instead featuring a unique "safe-action" trigger-mounted safety.
These large-frame models possess roughly 50% parts commonality with the original short-frame models, but most of the major parts are scaled up to accomodate larger cartridges. Therefore, pistols from different frame sizes cannot be converted from one to the other.
