** Warning: Remember not to load the wrong caliber in your weapon. Just because it fits in the speed strip doesn't mean it will fit in the weapon.
NOTE: As explained in the advanced tip in [[Weapon accessories]], speed strips are primarily intended to work with single-action (SA) revolvers, but they can also be used with DA or DA/SA revolvers. It's also not strictly necessary to match weapon capacity with speed strip capacity; the strip will simply transfer as much ammunition as possible to the weapon when used. The "Compatible weapons" section below only describes the type of revolvers the corresponding speed strip is ''intended'' for. Think of it as a "best used with" label rather than a requirement.
