"I don't have a witty description for this item yet."
Hebizuka (quote written by Unknown)

The Joshua is a .454 Casull pistol.

Obtaining this weapon

This weapon is referred to as a Crafting-only weapon. It cannot be normally found in the Mazes; it must be crafted in order to obtain it. For this reason, this weapon is Rarity 7 (Unique).

This is a Level 3 crafting item which requires the following parts:

  • Long Titanium Nitride barrel
  • Long pistol slide
  • Long pistol frame
  • Odd recoil spring
  • (Optional) One Joshua magazine, which may also be referred to as an Unknown .454 Casull pistol magazine (technically not required, but without it, it will be reduced to a single-shot weapon)
  • (Optional) Rounds of .454 Casull ammunition (not required for crafting the weapon itself, but needed to load it and the magazine)
  • (Optional) Joshua blueprint (not required for crafting the weapon, but increases crafting success chances)

Maze Customs

  • The fully assembled Joshua is considered to be already equipped with a PH TiN upgrade. This barrel cannot be threaded, and a different barrel upgrade cannot be installed on this weapon. (The theoretical maximum Condition of this pistol would be 13000 points without the upgraded barrel.)

Trivia

  • This weapon is based on the Hellsing Arms .454 Casull (unofficially called Joshua), from the 1997 manga Hellsing, which was also depicted in the corresponding 2001 anime, and in Hellsing Ultimate, the 2006 OVA. It is described as a 390mm long pistol, fitted with (as the slide markings indicate) a 10-inch barrel. Although the original weapon was described as possessing a 6-round magazine, the version featured in the Mazes uses a 7-round magazine instead.
