* The SVK-12 (as well as all [[AK-12]] rifles) featured in the game are based on the original 2012 prototypes of the AK-12 rifle series, rather than the later production models made by Kalashnikov Concern, which did not yet exist at the time they were added to the game. The author has decided to intentionally keep the prototypes instead of replacing them with the more modern rifles, out of personal preference.
* The listed manufacturer is IZHMASH, which still existed in 2012. The merger of IZHMASH and IZHMEKH which resulted in the creation of a new company now known as Kalashnikov Concern occurred in 2013.
* The designation '''SVK-12''' is not official. Because nearly all AK-12 prototypes were simply designated "AK-12", the name SVK-12 was selected to evoke a relationship with a similar rifle, the [[SVD]], and to differentiate it a little more from the AK-12 rifles, most notably because the SVK-12 is not part of the AK Customs Family. Despite the similarity, this rifle is NOT the later SVK rifle produced by Kalashnikov Concern in 2016.
