"Like its predecessor, the RPK-74 was created to serve as the long-barreled, machine gun version of its rifle length counterpart, the AK-74. As such, the same features can be found; 23.2 inch barrel, RPK stock, integrated bipod, and a large magazine as the standard. The RPK-74 comes with a 45-round magazine by default, but it is compatible with any other AK-74 magazine. Once again, I recommend using drum magazines for full effectiveness; few things say "machine gun" like 95 rounds on tap!"

Trivia

  • The designation RPK-74 is not 100% accurate. This weapon features a side mount (WP mount) for optics, which would make it an RPK-74N. The "N" was intentionally dropped from the designation as the author does not intend to add the non-N version.
