Unlike a [[residential area]], a hotel is exclusively aimed towards non-residents (referred to as ''guests''). A typical hotel possesses 20 rooms. Hotel rooms provide many of the same amenities as a residential area, even using a similar layout to one, with the notable addition of a dedicated housekeeping staff, complete with housekeeping quarters.
Just like with regular residential areas, hotels have ''managers'' which who answer to the [[mayor]], with very similar duties and responsibilities. In hotels, the manager is also a [[head janitor]], serving as the head of housekeeping.

Most hotels are owned by the town, although certain hotels may actually be under the private ownership of incredibly rich individuals. It's not certain how much a hotel is worth, but they are estimated to be worth multiple millions of [[Parallars]].
