An enormous insectarachnid, with the appearance of a tarantula.
The giant tarantula is one of several species of giant insects native to the Mazes. It appears to be an enormous version of the ''[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poecilotheria_metallica poecilotheria metallica]'', easily recognizable by the unique coloration of their bodies: a brilliant electric blue color, with yellow and black accents. They average at 4 feet 4 inches in height and 5 feet in length. These creatures are very light for their size, rarely weighing more than 30 lbs even when fully grown.
