"SCAR stands for Special Combat Assault Rifle, but it's fine to just call it SCAR. The SCAR-L (Light) is the shorter of the two SCAR rifles, and it is a lightweight, highly adaptable 5.56 NATO combat rifle, featuring a folding/retractable stock, several long accessory rails on all sides, and compatibility with STANAG magazines. An advanced rifle for advanced operators."

The FN Herstal SCAR-L CQC (also called SCAR-L CQC, SCAR-L or just SCAR) is a 5.56x45mm NATO combat rifle.

Maze Customs

This weapon can receive the following minor customization services:

  • SCAR-L CQC OPFOR
  • SCAR-L STD and SCAR-L LB
    • Combinations: SCAR-L STD OPFOR and SCAR-L LB OPFOR

SCAR-L CQC OPFOR

The OPFOR modification for the SCAR-L replaces the lower receiver and the barrel, in order to make the rifle compatible with 5.45mm AR magazines and the 5.45x39mm caliber.

Cost: Parallar symbol.png300

Modifications:

SCAR-L STD

The STD (Standard) barrel configuration replaces the CQC 10-inch barrel with a 14-inch barrel. Though it makes the weapon heavier, it also means more damage, due to the increased muzzle velocity. Please note that this moves the weapon into the Class 1 category.

Cost: Parallar symbol.png300

Modifications:

  • Weapon Class: Becomes Class 1
  • Barrel length: Becomes 14 inches.
  • Weight: Becomes 14 units.

SCAR-L LB

The LB (Long Barrel) configuration replaces the CQC 10-inch barrel with an 18-inch barrel suitable for precision shooting. Though it makes the weapon heavier, it also means more damage, due to the increased muzzle velocity. Please note that this moves the weapon into the Class 1 category.

Cost: Parallar symbol.png400

Modifications:

  • Weapon Class: Becomes Class 1
  • Barrel length: Becomes 18 inches.
  • Weight: Becomes 18 units.

SCAR-L STD OPFOR

Combine the advantages of the 14-inch barrel and the compatibility with 5.45x39mm AR magazines, and make AK-74 owners jealous of you. Please note that this moves the weapon into the Class 1 category.

This is a two-step modification from the original weapon, which combines the effects of the SCAR-L CQC OPFOR and SCAR-L STD conversions.
