A medium-sized bovine creature, raised for its milk and meat.
Dexter cattle are a type of bovine creature. Their coats are usually either tan or brown, and they are kept as cattle in traditional land farms, in herds of various sizes. As with other bovines, males kept for breeding are known as ''bulls'', other males are referred to as ''steers'', and females are ''heifers'' when they haven't yet had a ''calf'' (a baby), and become ''cows'' when they do.
