Navigation: Main Page Items Crafting items

The broad category of crafting items regroups items that are primarily useful for crafting, though it also includes items that may be useful in other activities, such as repairing or lockpicking.

There are four types of crafting items: Toolkits, blueprints, ingredient items and Specifications Documents (also known as Specs Docs).

Toolkits

Toolkit and Toolkits also redirect here.

Toolkits (or just kits) are bags with pre-arranged sets of tools and objects suitable for a specific task.

There are six types of toolkits in the game. All of them weigh 1 unit and share the common trait of being consumable - they are expended after the listed amount of uses have been spent. The purpose of a toolkit is to perform a particular task which requires the use of a certain skill.

Legend:

  • Max uses: The maximum amount of times this toolkit can be used before depletion, when brand new.
  • Shop type: Shop type(s) where the listed toolkit can be found for sale
  • Parallar symbol.png: Item cost
Toolkit name Parallar symbol.png Max uses Shop type Skill type Purpose

Lockpicking kit 600 20 Workshop Lockpicking An essential set of tools needed to pick mechanical locks.

Gun Cleaning Kit (GCK) 300 3 Gun shop
Weapon shop
Repairing A kit with tools suited for cleaning firearms. Restores a firearm's Condition by (100 + Repair skill bonus) per use
Will not work on firearms with less than 60% Condition.
Gun Repair Kit (GRK) 800 3 Gun shop
Weapon shop
Repairing A kit with tools suited for repairing firearms. Restores a firearm's Condition by (250 + Repair skill bonus) per use.
Melee Repair Kit (MRK) 600 3 Forge
Weapon shop
Repairing A kit with tools suited for repairing melee weapons. Restores a melee weapon's Condition by (250 + Repair skill bonus) per use.
Explosives Toolkit (XTK) 300 5 Workshop Repairing A kit with tools suited for explosive ordnance disposal. One use allows repairing one dud explosive, or performing 2 defusing actions in a single turn.

Blueprints

Blueprint and Blueprints also redirect here.

A blueprint is a document detailing technical drawings and instructions on how to build a particular object. Although these documents may not necessarily always be blue in color, they were first made in blue, with white text and details, the name simply stuck since then.

In the Mazes, when a character is trying to craft a particular object, possessing the corresponding blueprint alongside all of the correct ingredient items increases the chances of successful crafting by +15%, thus potentially reducing the amount of crafting toolkit uses needed to build that item. However, blueprints are optional for building crafting-only items; see crafting for more details.

All blueprints have a weight of 0.01 units, as they're simply rolls of paper. Every crafting-only item has a blueprint and all of them have the same information: a codename hinting at the nature of the object, the item's Level, the list of ingredient items, and presumably, all of the information needed to put the item together.

Blueprints can be found for sale at a workshop, and their shop value depends on the Level of the item depicted on it. Level 1 blueprints cost Parallar symbol.png10, Level 2 blueprints cost Parallar symbol.png25 and Level 3 blueprints cost Parallar symbol.png50.

Specs Docs

Specifications documents and Specs Docs also redirect here.

Engineering Specifications Documents, or simply Specs Docs, are folders full of advanced technical documentation for various projects and prototypes bearing the mark of the Proving Grounds, but which were lost or leaked out of the secret facility at some point. They contain information about very advanced objects that cannot be crafted directly by a player character.

The purpose of Specs Docs files is to trade them to the special Proving Grounds engineer in the Calfair Sector workshop, in exchange for items exclusively available at that workshop; these items are known as Specs Docs-only items.

  • Trading the documents alone is not enough; you will also need to bring money, and in some cases, specific items.

All Specs Docs files have a weight of 0.01 and no shop value - they cannot be purchased or sold anywhere and must be found.
