The purpose of Specs Docs files is to exchange trade them (alongside a sum of money) to the special Proving Grounds engineer in the Calfair Sector workshop, in order to unlock additional, special exchange for items for sale, exclusively available at that workshop; these items are known as '''Specs Docs-only items'''.
All Specs Docs files have a weight of 0.01 and no shop value - they cannot be purchased or sold anywhere and must be found.
