Outline of Browning BAR modification services
There are four modifications available, grouped into four categories:
- Rechambering: (A) BAR .308
- Optic modification: (B) BAR Hunter
- Magazine well modification: (C) BAR DBM
- Full-auto conversion: (D) Auto-BAR
Each modification is assigned a reference code (A, B, C, and D), to better keep track of which combination each name is associated to.
Any combination of these modifications can be applied to the BAR.
One-step modifications
Below is the list of one-step modifications; or in other words, each individual modification available, and their effects on the Browning BAR.
BAR .308
This modification simply rechambers the BAR to the more well-known .308 cartridge.

BAR Hunter
This modification drills and taps into the top of the receiver, installing a bespoke pair of scope rings and a 4x hunting scope.

BAR DBM
This modification alters the rifle's receiver so it is no longer able to accept proprietary Browning BAR magazines, making it compatible with AR-10 pattern magazines instead.

Auto-BAR
Channel the power of the other BAR into this one and turn it into the Auto-BAR! The BAR gains a fire selector and the ability to shoot in full-auto. Note that on its own, the effectiveness of this modification may be limited, due to the low capacity of the proprietary BAR magazines.
