The Browning BAR (or simply BAR) is a .243 Winchester conventional rifle.

Outline of Browning BAR modification services

There are four modifications available, grouped into four categories:

  • Rechambering: (A) BAR .308
  • Optic modification: (B) BAR Hunter
  • Magazine well modification: (C) BAR DBM
  • Full-auto conversion: (D) Auto-BAR

Each modification is assigned a reference code (A, B, C, and D), to better keep track of which combination each name is associated to.

Any combination of these modifications can be applied to the BAR.

One-step modifications

Below is the list of one-step modifications; or in other words, each individual modification available, and their effects on the Browning BAR.

BAR .308

This modification simply rechambers the BAR to the more well-known .308 cartridge.

This modification drills and taps into the top of the receiver, installing a bespoke pair of scope rings and a 4x hunting scope.

BAR DBM
