Clip or magazine?

If it looks like a strip of metal that is holding rounds of ammunition together, it is usually a clip. If it looks like a box with a spring inside, in which rounds of ammunition are contained, it is usually a magazine.

It is also incorrect to call it a 'magazine clip'.
