Mist clouds are a monster equivalent to smoke clouds, such as those generated by smoke grenades. They have the following properties:
* Engulfs an entire Side of the battlespace, affecting every creature inside.* Lasts for 4 2 turns, at the end of which the cloud dissipates, and the effects listed below cease.* All creatures inside the cloud suffer from a FT+2 malus. This hazard As a Spec-Aqua attack, it also causes Water-soaked. These hazards cannot be mitigated by the Immunity to gases effect, such as one given by a gas mask; as the purpose of mist is obfuscation, not damage.
* All creatures outside the cloud suffer from a IR+2 malus, if aiming at creatures inside the cloud.
Dice results:
* A critical success will double the length of the mist cloud's life (8 4 turns instead of 4 2 turns).
* A regular success will result in the normal effects of the mist cloud occurring.
* A failure still results in a mist cloud occurring, but for only 2 turns 1 turn instead of the normal amount.
* A critical failure results in the mist ball disintegrating before it can create a mist cloud, thus failing entirely.
Creature traits:
* FlightDrops items on death: This creature is capable of flying using its wings. As a free actionUpon being defeated, this creature may toggle Flight on or off once per turn. If Flight is on, this creature receives will drop the following effectsitems:** Primed 1d4 directional minesDragon scales will not be set off by a flying creature on the same Side.** Opponents attacking a flying creature suffer from a FT malus: FT+2 with melee attacks, FT+1 with ranged attacks.** Flying creatures cannot take cover.** Flying creatures suffer from certain maluses: Recoil +1 and FT+1.** If at least half of their wings is disabled, this creature is forced off Flight and can no longer toggle it back on until healed.TraitFlight
*Luxury meat: When butchered, this creature's meat is considered to be a luxury, worth 4 times the value of regular game meat.
* Water affinity: This creature cannot receive the Water-soaked effect.
These scales are heavy and so resilient, they are considered bullet-resistant. Coupled with their large size, high tolerance to pain, and extreme ferocity, and you get a creature that makes for a good stereotype for "dangerous creature". Most adventurers are advised to avoid dragons, and should they be unlucky enough to see one, the best course of action is to flee. Only the best-prepared and bravest (or most foolish) should attempt to engage these creatures in combat.
The aquagon (or blue dragon) is one of the seven adult dragon forms that a baby dragon can grow up into becoming. Aquagons are water elementals, with the ability to spit scaldingblasts; high-volume and high-pressure jets of nearly-boiling water. They can also spit mist balls, in a manner similar to the Gavodborz, though the Aquagon's mist balls are watermelon-sized and generate more mist, which in turn lasts longer. Their blue scales have an interesting water-absorbing property, which keeps the outside of their body relatively dry. Biologists have theorized that aquagon scales have developed this property as a form of defense against electrical hazards.
All adult dragon forms have an average height of 6 feet 5 inches when standing on all four legs, an average length of 8 feet from snout to tail, and an average weight of 3000 pounds, or about 1.36 metric tons.
